Disclaimer and Liability Waiver

By voluntarily reading anything on this site, trying anything on this site; participating in, consenting to meet with, consulted by; have mediumship readings by, energy work/reiki done, take classes or courses by, or be instructed or mentored by Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC, or receive recommendations or services from Margo Pick, and/or Ka of life, LLC, and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions – I agree that:

I am at least 18 years of age; have obtained permission from my legal guardian; or I am, as legal guardian, providing permission for someone under my care to receive services/instruction/mediumship readings/energy work/reiki/ classes/ courses/ be consulted/mentored, etc.

All the services are speculative in nature and Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions do not guarantee that the results of our work will be satisfactory to the client.

I understand that Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions , are not professional, board certified counselors, nor offer any counseling services.

I agree that by working with, or reading anything on this website, I will not hold Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC  liable and that I am solely responsible for any decisions or actions I make and I that I am solely responsible for any physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and/or psychological issues that may arise, or that I, or anyone else, may perceive to arise – imaginary, or real.

I also acknowledge that some or all of the procedures used in these metaphysical and/or spiritual consultations, mentoring, mediumship readings, energy work/ reiki sessions, classes/courses, or other services offered are for demonstrative purposes, or energy work, and not to be classified as mental health counseling.

I also understand that Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions are expressing her/their beliefs or belief systems and sharing her/their experiences, perceptions and/or interpretations, and I will not hold any of them liable for their own beliefs, for I am free to believe what I choose to believe.

I will pay the non-refundable deposit of $50 that goes toward the total appointment price to hold my appointment spot at the time of booking (unless other arrangements have been agreed upon). I acknowledge that Margo requires a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to the appointment time. If the cancellation is 24 hours or more out, Margo can reschedule my appointment or provide a credit for a future appointment. If I fail to give at least 24 hour notice, I then forfeit the advance payment for that session.

All services/ appointments require a non-refundable deposit.

I acknowledge that I understand that Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC  and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions do not do: Love, Romance (such as “When will I meet my true love?”), or Loyalty (of the heart) questions. Nor do they do – fortune telling, treasure hunting/hidden money, or “Am I dying” (please see your doctor for this one), “When is s/he dying?”, “When am I (or someone else) going to die?”

I release Margo Pick and Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions from any liability and hold harmless from anything that I may perceive as connected to anything on this site; these consultations/advice/mediumship readings/ reiki/ energy work/ classes/ courses or other services offered (including, but not limited to exercises or experiences from readings/classes/courses/study/reiki/ energy work); field exercises; metaphysical and/or paranormal consultations or anything else before, during or after the consults/ mediumship readings/ reiki/ energy work/ classes/courses, or other services offered. I am solely responsible for any mental, physical, emotional, spiritual or psychological issues that may arise, or that I, or others, may perceive to arise; perceived, imaginary, or real.

I understand that Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions recommends seeing a certified, qualified therapist or counselor for emotional distresses or concerns.

Disclaimer and Release of Liability for Energy Healing Services

By making an appointment with and/or receiving services from Margo Pick / Ka of life, LLC, and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions and/or accepting an energy session I am agreeing that:

I understand that Margo Pick, Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions are a non-therapeutic and non-medical complementary and alternative health care practitioner and is not licensed by the state of Georgia. There is currently no license available for the services provided. All services and treatments provided are complementary or alternative to health care services provided by health care practitioners currently licensed by the state of Georgia. All services are speculative in nature and we do not guarantee that the results of our work will be satisfactory to the client.

I also understand that Margo is a:
Reiki Master/Instructor — Usui Reiki Ryoho and Shinpiden
Medium/ Spirit communicator
Spiritual Advisor

And that I will pay the deposit fee in advance; and that Margo requires a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to the appointment time. If the cancellation is 24 hours or more out, Margo can reschedule my appointment or provide a credit for a future appointment. If I fail to give at least 24 hours notice, I then forfeit the advance payment for that session and the appointment will be opened to someone else. If Margo /Ka of life, LLC does not receive any form of confirmation from you 24 hours before your appointment time, your appointment is cancelled and the appointment time becomes available for urgent or emergencies. If I don’t get at least a 24 hour notice, you forfeit the payment since I won’t be able to fill that slot or offer it to someone who may have a need for it.*

No refunds. No exceptions.

I am at least 18 years of age or have obtained permission from my legal guardian.

For distance sessions—I will not be driving or operating heavy machinery during my appointment time.

I understand that Reiki and other energy work/sessions are simple, gentle, hands-on or off energy techniques that is used for stress reduction and relaxation and that personal experiences with all energy work varies from client to client. I also understand that Reiki and other energy work practitioners do not diagnose conditions or claim to cure specific illnesses. They neither prescribe substances or perform medical treatment, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.

I also understand that it is recommended that I see a licensed medical professional or licensed health care professional for any mental/psychological or physical ailment I, or those in my care, have.

By accepting a Reiki or other energy work session, I am agreeing that I will not hold Margo Pick and/or Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions liable and that I am solely responsible for any physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and/or psychological issues that may arise, or that I, or anyone else, may perceive to arise – imaginary, or real.

* – Please Note: If for some reason I do approve a refund, Square will no longer refund full amount; they will not refund their processing fee. This means that any approved-by-me refund will be minus Square’s processing fee

Energy work practitioners reserve the right to:
• refuse any client at anytime
• change prices or services at anytime if additional work is needed
• discontinue services at anytime

Clients:
A client has the right to complete and current information concerning the complementary and alternative health care practitioner’s assessment and recommended complementary and alternative health care services that are to be provided prior to commencement of service(s) for each appointment including: the expected duration of the complementary and alternative health care services to be provided.
Notice regarding client records:

• A client has the right to access their own client’s records and written information therein.
• Client records and transactions are confidential unless the release of these records is authorized in writing by the client or as required by law.
• A client has the right to a coordinated transfer when there will be a change in the provider of the complementary and alternative health care services.

Acknowledgement of Controversial Topics

I understand and acknowledge that there is a possibility that controversial and/ or triggering topics will arise and be discussed in these sessions/ advising/ mediumship readings/ these classes/ courses for Margo Pick / Ka of life, LLC and/or new practitioners in volunteer practice sessions do not control what others ask or bring up. I have accepted this knowledge, and have either agreed to stay in these sessions/ advising/ mediumship readings/ these classes/ courses, or I can choose to leave. If I choose to leave, I understand I will not be reimbursed any portion of the sessions/ advising/ mediumship readings/ these classes/ courses fees.
